We are in the design & permitting stages of a ground-mount solar PV project at the Grass Valley Charter School garden. Solar will off-set utility costs as well as provide an opportunity for students to learn about renewable energy.

Mr. Crosbie has done a wonderful job building the first stages of the solar shade structure on which we will be installing a 10kW PV array to off-set some of the utility electricity charges. The garden was chosen as the preferred location so as to provide shade for students while in the garden, as well as a learning opportunity for the students interested in discovering the role that renewable energy plays in sustainable solutions.
